DCH Animal Adoptions — Dog, Cat and Horse Rescue

Pound rescue

Dogs - Death Row

These animals are currently in various kill pounds and shelters or are in DCH funded boarding kennel facilities. The pound rescue animals will only have 7 days (14 days if microchipped) to be claimed by their owners or rehomed. Although we do not have a time limit on our DCH rescues in kennels we can not keep them for long periods of time confined in a kennel environment - DCH have not had to put an animal to sleep from long term kennelling, please help us keep it that way.

If you wish to adopt one of these animals or Foster Care one until a permanent home can be found then please contact us as soon as possible.

All descriptions of breeds, ages and sizes are given in good faith and there is no guarantee that these are correct.

Johnny
Bull Terrier x 1 year

johnny

Johnny is currently in our boarding kennels and needs a new home or foster carer asap.
Johnny may not be the most handsome boy on the block but with his awesome personality who could resist him! Johnny is very people orientated, affectionate and craves attention (thinks his a lap dog), he loves a cuddle a belly rub and to lick you to death more than anything. He is a very outgoing young man who loves to play with toys or other k9 friends. Johnny has had much training in the past but he is quickly learning to sit, stay, drop he also walks great on the lead. Johnny would be perfect as a family dog with some older children to play with him or another canine friend to play with. If you think you have the perfect home for Johnny please give us a call he would love to meet you!

Can you help by sponsoring any of these dogs kennel fees?

It costs us $12 a day (per dog) to keep these rescue dogs in boarding until suitable permanent or foster homes can be found. If you can help with these additional costs by sponsoring one of our death row dogs then please contact us at [email protected] or make a donation:
